"The resulting portrait exceeded our expectations.
Everyone who’s seen it raves about it. We now have a
new tradition in our family; very special moments
immortalized in Norman Rockwell Moments."

Norman Rockwell: The People's Painter
I showed the America I knew and observed to others who might not have noticed.
Norman Rockwell
America's premier illustrator for more than six decades, Norman Rockwell was a gifted visual storyteller whose well-loved images describe universal human experiences within a particularly American context. He loved to paint pictures that conveyed stories about people and their relationships. Rockwell's heartfelt and humorous portrayals of children and the situations they find themselves in are as charming and popular today as they were when first published.
You are encouraged to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, which houses the world's largest and most significant collection of original Rockwell art. Highlights include enduring favorites from Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post covers, the powerful Four Freedoms, and the nostalgic Home for Christmas.
The Museum's changing Norman Rockwell exhibitions present an illustrated chronicle of American life and showcase our nation's ideals of kindness, tolerance, democracy, and freedom, as interpreted through the artist's spirit, wisdom, and gentle humor. Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge studio, moved to the Museum site with its original contents, allows visitors a rare glimpse into the workshop in which Rockwell turned inspiration into classic paintings.
